Dear Friend of Catholic Climate Covenant,

Throughout the U.S., young Catholics are seeking ways to repair the relationship between our common home and humankind. Their resolve to live in a world free from climate injustice is based on Catholic teachings which instill respect and love of God’s creation and for one another. 

Catholic Climate Covenant is working with them to help address our earth’s ecological crisis particularly as it impacts people in communities of color who endure disproportionate environmental health disparities from poor drinking water, less access to clean air and safe housing. 

As a lifelong advocate for environmental justice, I support the work of the Covenant and their accompaniment of young adults to bring about a more just and healthier world. I hope you will join in my support of the Covenant’s mid-year campaign to provide resources for its Youth and Young Adult Mobilization Program. In doing so, you will enable young people across the U.S. Catholic community to pursue their dreams of a world that embraces all forms of life, free from the ravages of climate injustice.
